The Cowboys made the risky decision to go for it on fourth-and-1 at their own 39-yard line, but when quarterback Dak Prescott plunged into a pile of players, the chains were brought out to determine if he'd gained the needed yardage. However, the measurement was so close that Steratore, who is now a rules analyst for CBS, pulled out an index card to see if he could slide it between the nose of the ball and the end of the chain. When he couldn't, a first down was awarded, and Dallas went on to eventually kick the game-winning field goal.
