FRISCO, Texas 鈥 The 草莓视频下载入口 have finalized a trade for New York Jets All-Pro defensive tackle Quinnen Williams, sending a 2026 second-round pick, a 2027-first round pick and DT Mazi Smith in return to New York.

The Jets will receive the better of Dallas' two 2027 first-round picks. The Cowboys received their two extra first round picks in the Micah Parsons trade earlier in the offseason.

Williams, 27, has made the Pro Bowl in each of the last three seasons for the Jets. Now, Dallas adds more depth up front on the defensive line alongside Kenny Clark and Osa Odighizuwa.

In Dallas, Williams will reunite with his former defensive line coach Aaron Whitecotton, who is now with the Cowboys in the same role. So far this season, Williams has tallied 32 tackles, seven tackles for loss, three forced fumbles and a sack through eight games this year.

Additionally, Williams now gets to play for his former teammate and now Cowboys defensive assistant Tanzel Smart as well, who was with him in New York from 2019-20 and 2022-23. Williams has also played with DTs Solomon Thomas and Perrion Winfrey as well as CB Trevon Diggs.

In July of 2023, Williams signed a four-year, $96 million contract extension with the Jets, leaving him under contract through the 2027 season and making him an unrestricted free agent in 2028, meaning the Cowboys will have his services available for the next two and half or so years.

The trade for Williams' is Dallas' second of the day, both of which have been on the defensive side of the ball. Earlier on Tuesday, Dallas sent a 2026 seventh-round pick to the Bengals for LB Logan Wilson, as Jerry Jones backed up his claims that the team had several moves "in the works." He also hinted that Cowboys fans wouldn't be disappointed with the moves being made.

"You won't be disappointed that I didn't get carried away or get all illogical and do something that was all betting on us winning the Super Bowl," Jones said. "I don't think you'll be disappointed."

As Williams gets a fresh start in Dallas, Mazi Smith will do the same in New York with the Jets. The Cowboys' first round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft was struggling to find consistency and had been going back and forth between making Smith active and inactive in the 2025 season, and now gets a chance to find his footing in a new home.
